Burnaby Lake Regionalpark

Lovely location. Well maintained trails for walking with or without a canine friend(on leash). Experience the beautiful lake and feed (bird friendly feed) the many different species of birds before you leave the park. The restrooms are clean, and there is a small picnic area to enjoy. This is a family favourite we try to visit every week.

I came the other day on a gravel bicycle ride. I have always wanted to ride the south rim of the park by bicycle and I finally got the chance. Burnaby Lake is a beautiful park with lots of trails perfect for walking, horseback riding and cycling. A wonderful slice of nature in the heart of burnaby. The noise from the highway is not too bad and the trails are well maintained. 100% would ride again. On my favourite list.

Beautiful park in the city! The trail around the lake is flat but long… almost 10k to do the whole thing. Lots of points of interest… bird feeding/watching, equestrian, model plane flying, boat club, soccer, and so on. Plenty of parking space available.
