First class botanic gardens, providing both garden delight, and botany lessons.
Sunny and shaded areas. Dog free and dog off leash zones. All great for wheelchairs and prams. Good parking.
We didn't visit the coffee shack.

Landscaping and planting towards ecological principles. Bird watches and signage. Limited facilities; no toilets.
The wetlands were built over an abandoned brickworks to better manage silt. Limited paths allow bird watchers, field naturalists, families and exercisers to enjoy the ponds and planted areas. Sheltered picnic areas; seats but no water.
In time, planted areas will grow and become more self sustaining; but for now, it is more a garden of native plants.
