Even quieter now the furniture store (was it Homes R Us?) has gone and the space taken by a boutique hotel with an unpronouncable and unmemorable acronymic name (such idiots these 'cool' people who make up such brands) but Danial is still there for a gut-busting quirky buffet and there's some government service office too. So, not a mall as such. Dont drop by expecting to browse the shops.

As a place to pickup and drop back cruise passengers, its fine, as access is clear and there is parking. So its like 1000% better than going to the airport! Apart from that its basically just a parking slot for cruise liners.

Presently, its just a big construction site as the old natural beach and grassed areas are removed and replaced with "Dubai style" strip of cafes, tracks and assorted other facilities, as well as expensive parking payable 365 days per year. Whether you think that is progress or destruction depends on your worldview. Half of it is sort of finished, the rest is a work site. Maybe from 2024 you can see it 95% finished and decide if you like it.
