I had specifically mentioned I needed an eye exam for my dental loupes that I will be getting (that cost over $5000). They said sure and that I will need to pay $160 for an eye exam. I received my dental loupes in and wanted to ensure good fitting for the health of my eyes long term. Apparently they didn’t take my eye measurements at my initial visit because I didn’t purchase a pair of glasses from them..And are requesting I pay another $100 just for another eye measurement.
I’m not sure why I paid $160 for the eye exam without full service for the purpose I had mentioned when I already purchased a $5000 pair of glasses/loupes. It doesn't make sense to me that they would have thought I would purchase another pair of glasses with them that I absolutely didn’t need at this point. Also, especially when there were no suitable styles for me to choose from. They had seemed a bit pushy to convince me that their styles were the best fit I would find when even after clearly stating once more that I didn’t need glasses as I was purchasing $5000< dental loupes!
