It's a nice little restaurant on Baldwin Street. It's not a fancy place, but it has a great value.
Good and quick service.
Spicy PEI mussels can be cooked in no spicy way as per customer's request, and the dish is very good.
The grilled salmon is a simple dish that requires a lot of mastery to overcome all the competition. The chef at Cafe Le Gaffe does that. The balsamic vinegar glaze really add interesting notes to the taste. Although, veggies on the side were exactly the same as for the steak. But you cannot anticipate different side dishes at such price range, thus, I'm OK with that.
The steak was good as well as deserts - we had a Creme Brulee and a lemon cheesecake with refreshingly sour raspberry jam.
I would highly recommend this place, especially for their grilled salmon and mussels
