We spent an enjoyable afternoon at this museum. The displays were well done and thought provoking. Climate change and Gender displays both were illuminating about my own biases with gentle sharing of other possibilities. I could have spent more time than I had here.
If you are lucky, you can actually visit and see how the parliament work in action. This is one of the most open and transparent government in the world. You can have a self guided visit for FREE, but you do HAVE TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE. The interior is beautiful. And you can even eat at the restaurant or cafeteria inside the parliament.
We made our reservation on-line for the self-guided tour. You need to go through the security check and registration to get in. A named badge will be created for and needed to carry all the time when you touring the parlement building. Very beautiful building. Staff are very nice and polite to provide information. Some meeting area/office are open for public so you can see how the meeting are proceeded. Very interesting. Highly recommend to visit there when you travel to Quebec.
예약 굳이 안해도 입구에서 티켓사서 입장 가능. 금요일 4시반쯤 갔는데 사람 1도 없어 쾌적하게 전경 즐겼음. 와이파이도 있고 쉴 수 있는 공간도 중간에 있어 좋았음. 야경도 예쁠듯
Ikonisches Hotel auf dem Hügel der Stadt. Das Hotel überragt nahezu alle weiteren Gebäude (bis auf das Finanzministerium). Die Aussicht auf das Hotel- aber auch die Aussicht vom Hotel- sind beeindruckend. Abends ist das Hotel schön von außen beleuchtet. Quebec hat einen besonderen europäischen Charme.
Racism everywhere. I was just sitting in the lobby without my sandals ON. The security guard was suggesting me to sit straight and put my sandals. There is a white lady sitting next to me is doing the same but the guard didn’t have a problem. At one point during the visit, the guard was only checking brown guys ticket. Why do we face discrimination every time in Quebec. This must stop!!!
Extremely well done exhibits, especially the one on gender identity. I wish all Americans could experience it, we have a lot to learn!
Luxusherberge, die zwar optisch schön über der Altstadt liegt, aber völlig überlaufen ist. Nichts für ruhige Stunden.
There were a few interesting exhibits. Definitely worth visiting but this was not like a traditional museum with hanging art. I would describe it like a collection of 5-6 informational and slightly interactive exhibits. If you're not one of the "read everything on the plaque" kind of museum goer, this might not be the place for you.
Habe das Gebäude nur von außen gesehen, war nicht im Hotel, Wahnsinn: so etwas in Kanada 😀, ist aber wohl sehr beliebt 😊
A great museum that has lots of different exhibits. I like that it's not all one category. Some exhibits are interactive and great for kids. Others focus on art or history in a more traditional way. It was fun and a good place to visit for all ages.

Allein der Baustil wie eine Burg, ist eine Reise wert. Das Hotel ist hoch gelegen, so dass man eine tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt und auf den St. Lorenzstrom hat. Das Essen ist fabelhaft gut und relativ preisgünstig.

Gut organisiert
Das Hotel ist chic und perfekt gelegen. Die Concierge sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren aber Bauarbeiten im Gange, die viel Lärm verursachten. Davon abgesehen passten einige Details nicht ins Bild des Luxushotels (z.B. lange Wartezeiten im Restaurant, kleiner Spabereich, etc.)
Ich war nicht sooo beeindruckt. Der Ausblick aus den geraden Fenstern ist nicht ideal. Die Ausstellung erschien mir als relativ wahllos zusammengewürfelte Fakten. Der gezeigte Dronenflug-Film eher ein Witz. Ich vermute, dass der Eintrittspreis in ein paar Getränken im benachbarten, nur unwesentlich niedrigeren Drehrestaurant besser angelegt wäre.
Eine gute Sehenswürdigkeit, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte. Der Ausblick aus dem 31. Stock ist super, zudem gibt es noch ein kleines „Museum“, was parallel zum Rundgang verläuft und die Geschichte von Quebec erklärt, sowie Infos zur Provinz und Stadt gibt.
Eintritt ist mit 14$ recht hoch, es lohnt sich aber wirklich.
