Great space with a fantastic range of snacks, drinks and they're also licensed. Chill vibes, good music and you're encouraged to be off devices (which isn't a deal breaker but a thing worth knowing).

JJ Bean is always our coffee shop of choice. Their pasteries and hot drink selections can't be beat. We even buy the beans and bring them home for our morning brew.

Cozy little cafe, I did some drawing and had a decaf americano. Barista was kind and personable and the coffee was quite good. Price is typical of Vancouver. The only thing that threw me off about this place is that there were a bunch of passive aggressive signs about “no laptops”. I asked the barista about it and they said that it was because the owner “didn’t want it to feel like a Starbucks” and to have people chat with each other more or less. Reading from the other reviews the owner seems like an interesting character. It’s a fine cafe, just don’t bring a laptop apparently.

Just like the others mentioned many times before, service is slow and staff behind the counter are not that welcoming.

I used to come to this location often but not anymore now due to the long wait (even though store was empty) because staff were busy with the store’s music playlist or you’d just have to wait till they finished their conversation first.

Last week was the the last straw. Came in to order their sandwich that i really like, only to find out 20-30 minutes later that the burnt the sandwich, which they knew about but NEVER BOTHERED TO LET ME KNOW! I was the standing by the counter THE WHOLE TIME WAITING. I have ordered their sandwich before and i now it takes some time to warm it up. When i finally asked them about it, they nonchalantly said that they forgot to set the timer, hence it burnt and they were going to make me a new one. A few minutes later a staff came to me to apologize that that was the last sandwich they have, they could offer me other items or a refund. I opted for a refund, which they mentioned will be credited back to my card in 2-3 days. I asked them if they need my card again for the refund process, they said no need. It has been a week and unfortunately no refund yet.

I just walked into the store with my daughter. She had in her hand, a coffee which we had bought from another store. We were obviously not planning to sit in this café and not pay for their services. As soon as we walked in a gentleman came over in a very rude and condescending voice, saying how can we help you looking at my daughter who had the coffee in her hand. it was extremely off-putting unfriendly and unacceptable behaviour. Suffice it to say that I expressed my views and asked my daughter to get up and we left. I’m sharing this experience with you in case you have any food or drink in your hand when you walk in this place so you know what to expect.

在温哥华这个一年有4个月都是雨季的地方，艳丽的颜色似乎让我们更加的喜欢。早上9:30到店开始排队，等我拿到咖啡的时候已经9:50了。等候时间有点长，感觉2位小姐姐有点忙不过来，但她们的服务态度还是很好的。

Funky bright spot with wall full of cool local artwork …The Cuban sandwich was excellent, both the espresso and drip coffees were great …. All the baked goods are fresh and very flavourful.. will definitely return whenever I’m passing through
