Excellent coffee, finally found a café in Vancouver that does a “café allongé” 😉
Great space with a fantastic range of snacks, drinks and they're also licensed. Chill vibes, good music and you're encouraged to be off devices (which isn't a deal breaker but a thing worth knowing).
Cozy little cafe, I did some drawing and had a decaf americano. Barista was kind and personable and the coffee was quite good. Price is typical of Vancouver. The only thing that threw me off about this place is that there were a bunch of passive aggressive signs about “no laptops”. I asked the barista about it and they said that it was because the owner “didn’t want it to feel like a Starbucks” and to have people chat with each other more or less. Reading from the other reviews the owner seems like an interesting character. It’s a fine cafe, just don’t bring a laptop apparently.
I just walked into the store with my daughter. She had in her hand, a coffee which we had bought from another store. We were obviously not planning to sit in this café and not pay for their services. As soon as we walked in a gentleman came over in a very rude and condescending voice, saying how can we help you looking at my daughter who had the coffee in her hand. it was extremely off-putting unfriendly and unacceptable behaviour. Suffice it to say that I expressed my views and asked my daughter to get up and we left. I’m sharing this experience with you in case you have any food or drink in your hand when you walk in this place so you know what to expect.

Nach einem schönen, für manchen anstrengenden, Aufstieg durch den öffentlichen Park wird das Mount Royal Chalet erreicht. Das Chalet besteht im wesentlichen aus einem großen Raum mit hoher Decke, der gut für größere Gesellschaften zu Feiern genutzt werden kann. Der großzügige Freiplatz davor ermöglicht einen Rundumblick auf Montreal und den Sankt Lorenz-Strom.
I just had the chance to enjoy a latte here, and I really liked it. I'm planning to try their pastries and other dishes soon. The ambiance is one of my favorites—filled with plants and charming lights. In October, they even have Halloween decorations, adding to the festive atmosphere. The staff is friendly and always has a smile. The seating options are diverse, featuring various types of chairs and tables both inside and outside. Whether you want a space to study and work with your laptop or some comfy ones just for chilling and chatting, you can find it here.

Randomly walked in and found this cool place. I think their concept is train station and almost like harry potter themed. They have actual train station furnitures like high top shoe shine chairs converted into bar tops and the owl from harry potter. I personally liked the wooden seating by the wall. Ordered velvet cookie, it was soft and very sweet.

Super cozy place. A place to hangout and meet some cool neighbourhood people. Good variety of food, baked goods, amazing coffee and you can also get Quesava Poppers. The Poppers are gluten free and local. The vibe is unique, people from everywhere come here... You can find Colombian/Venezuelan Desserts such as Flan 🍮 and Tres Leches! 😋
The locals here are from the UK, Ireland, Australia, Latin America, China and many more exciting places. The place to come alone and meet some locals or a place to hangout with friends. It's just like a Cheers Bar in the West End.

Der wahrscheinlich schönste Ort in ganz Montreal ist dieser Aussichtsberg!
Einer der wichtigsten Aussichtspunkte in Montreal, die man besuchen sollte, wenn man schon einmal in Kanada, bzw. in Montreal ist. Man hat eine perfekte Sicht über die ganze Stadt und bei gutem Wetter bis in die näher gelegenen Berge. Im Chalet selber kann man sich ein wenig über die Geschichte von Montreal erkundigen und Audio-/Videopräsentationen genießen. Hier kann man auch eine kleine Auswahl an Souvenirs kaufen und bei Bedarf auch einen Kaffee (oder falls es einfach zu kalt ist hier oben). Ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz ist in gut 2km Entfernung zu finden. Der weg ist ausreichend befestigt und danach wird man mit einer überwältigenden Aussicht über Montreal belohnt!
Toller Panoramablick über Montreal und schöne Wanderstrecken drum herum.
Schönes Panorama, Weg zum Gipfelkreuz kann man sich allerdings sparen. Von dort sieht man nix.
Schönes Chalet hier auf dem Mont Royal und unglaublich schöne Aussicht von hier oben über das schöne Montreal. Die Gegend hier ist auch super zum ein bisschen spazieren/wandern zu gehen.
